A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer answer the needs of your website, or when you face continual network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client service team to respond to you, it may be smart to swap your hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your sites together with your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At Ur Hidden Hosting, we understand that this can be difficult and time–consuming. That is the reason why we’ll do all that for you at no cost!Our seasoned technical team representatives will transfer your web site content from your current provider to us. Our techs have lots of experience migrating web sites and can take care of anything – from a traditional WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven site, to an extremely complex, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time frame, since there are lots of factors, including the size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We do not collect any personal details. We will need, though, the login information for your current web hosting account and the name of the web site that you need to transfer.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose essentially the same details you have provided to your present web host. We’ve also got a very rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate info is used.

A: While we migrate your web site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. Once the transfer is completed, we’ll ensure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your content is not affected before telling you that the transfer is finished. After that, we will instruct you how to move the domain name to your web hosting account with us and how to modify the DNS records.

A: Nope. We will never contact your web hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the web site transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your website.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
